Initially bought the first Blackbrim 1876 for my mom. We enjoyed it so much that I bought the series and we completed them in 2-3 days as it took us a few hours since we tried not to use hints. We love the ability to use hints and the storyline. We look forward to playing other puzzles!

The reagers series are a real good puzzle game. The story are good and enhance the puzzle experience and the puzzles are hard but not impossible to solve.
Only drawback is that there are no EU sale channel so for me it was a very expensive experience

This was an EPIC trilogy. We played it as a family with our teenage daughters, leaving it on the coffee table and puzzling it out over weekends and evenings. It often beat the tv as our night time activity! Absolutely abominable puzzles, the creators are as brilliant as Reager. Thank you so much!!

We only played half of the game, actually we are still in part I after 4+ hours. I feel that we finished the previous two games in the Blackbrim series in this amount of time. So, I'm guessing the puzzles are harder than previous. Overall, I enjoyed that aspect, but the length of time to get as far as we did and still be less than half way through suggests it's too complicated for your average game night

We didn't realize how long the whole journey would take! We really liked how challenging it was at times and the length of the whole story and how it all connected, Having the multiple parts helped when we couldn't dedicate more time the night we were playing. There were some parts we felt we were experts in and others took a little help, but we really enjoyed the whole series.

Such an entertaining game. It is a joy to play a game that make you use your mind. Kept the adults thinking and let the grandkids use their imaginations (a couple of time they even came up with the answer when us adult were overthinking). This had some really unique and rather challenging puzzles that I greatly enjoyed. I liked how I always knew what to tackle next -- there was plenty of clarity on where to focus my efforts, provided both by the sequential set of envelopes and good telegraphing via the story elements.

We’ve been huge fans of Puzzling Pursuits from their first puzzle after a friend recommended it to us. Since then, we have played nearly all of their releases and have yet to be disappointed. Origins & Ends was no exception! The cute portfolio/briefcase folders is a neat aesthetic choice. The quality of the puzzles themselves are solvable but tough enough to stump us for a few hours. They’re satisfying without being frustrating. Highly recommend people give this box (and really the whole series) a shot!

This one was a little too hard for us. My puzzling comrades surrendered and I had to use the hints to finish. Puzzles from other companies are ridiculously easy, so we do love the challenge from Puzzling Pursuits, but we don’t like to have to use so many hints to get ahead.

We have thoroughly enjoyed the Blackbrim series - probably the best games of this genre that we have played (others are Unlock, Exit and Finders Seekers). This was the most fun game yet - the best of the Blackbrim triology in our opinion (we have not yet started on La Famiglia).
We played as a team of three and took about 5.5 hours, with different members contributing their respective strengths to the variety of puzzles encountered. That variety is definitely part of the fun - math, logic, words and a little bit of literature. The puzzles were about the right level of difficulty. Several times we were on the verge of giving up but each time we managed to pull out the answer without resorting to any hints (a bit deal as far as we are concerned!).
Well done! We are looking forward to La Famiglia and hoping for more to follow!

I enjoyed this third installment of the Blackbrim trilogy. The puzzles are challenging, but solvable. I have completed part one, and an looking forward to part two. Maybe I'll meet Reager before the end.
